Popular Bollywood celebrity and Big Boss contestant, Rakhi Sawant has married Adil Khan Durrani.
Rakhi Sawant admitted that she married Adil last year in July but could not reveal it because he asked her to not disclose the wedding as it might create problems.
In an interview Rakhi shared, “Yes, I got married to Adil in July last year after three months of knowing him. We had a nikah ceremony and a court marriage. Since he stopped me from disclosing it, I remained tightlipped for the past seven months. He felt that it would get difficult to find a suitor for his sister if people got to know about our marriage. According to him, tum Rakhi Sawant ke saath judogayy to tumne badnaami lee hai [If you associate yourself with Rakhi Sawant then that means you have invited shame].”
However, now Sawant proudly announced her wedding dressed in white and pink sharara. She posted a picture of her court marriage and nikkah on Instagram showing her happiness. She captioned it as: “Finally, I’m happy so excited, and got married my love is 4 Ever unconditional love for you Adil.”
Moreover, the news is doing rounds in the media that Rakhi Sawant has accepted Islam after marrying Adil. Also, she changed her name from Rakhi to ‘Fatima’.
Indian news platform ‘Telly Talk’ got their hands on nikkah documents of Rakhi and her name is mentioned as ‘Fatima’ on her Nikkah documents and she is seen saying Islamic prayer before her Nikkah.
