SpaceX delayed the Falcon 9 launch of Polaris Dawn, initially set for early Wednesday, due to bad weather forecasts off Florida’s coast. The launch, originally scheduled for Tuesday, was pushed back to Wednesday after technical issues and concerns about splashdown conditions.

Anna Menon, also a lead space operations engineer at SpaceX, serves as both a mission specialist and medical officer.
