KCCI Announces 2024-26 Managing Committee Elections

The Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) has officially announced the upcoming elections for the 2024-26 term, set to fill 30 vacant seats on the Managing Committee. The election will occur on Saturday, 21st September 2024, at the KCCI Building located on Aiwan-e-Tijarat Road, Karachi. Voting will be available from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Eligible members are invited to cast their votes by presenting one of the following forms of identification: original CNIC, passport, driving license, or a KCCI-issued ID card. This process will determine the new members who will take over from the current Managing Committee members who are retiring. The list of retiring members includes prominent names such as Iftikhar Ahmed Sheikh, Altaf A. Ghaffar, Mohammed Tariq Yousuf, Mohammad Haris Agar, Muhammad Arif Doni, Tariq Ikram Khan, Sohail Ahmed, Muhammad Yousuf Yaqoob, Junaid Ur Rehman, and Shoaib Manzoor, among others.

The full list of retiring members also includes Bilal Saleem, Adeel Nasir Presswala, Muhammad Kashif Shaikh, Muhammad Farooq Afzal, Imran Ahmed Sheikh, Tanveer Ahmed Barry, Muhammad Aslam (Nathani), Muhammad Farooq Zahid, Muhammad Shoaib, Ahmed Azeem Alavi, Chaudhry Amir Abdullah, Muhammad Iqbal Khamisani, Ibrahim Mustafa Ahmed Shamsi, Waris Zia, Amir Iqbal Naviwala, Shoaib Sultan, Shaikh Waqas Anjum, Sohail Shamim Firpo, Atif Tariq, and Aslam (Pakhali).

KCCI encourages all eligible members to actively participate in this important election. Their involvement is crucial in shaping the future leadership and direction of the Chamber, ensuring that the new committee effectively represents and serves the interests of the business community.
