Bollywood Star Govinda Hospitalized After Accidental Shooting Incident

Bollywood actor Govinda experienced a shocking and unexpected incident on Tuesday morning. The beloved star was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai after accidentally shooting himself in the leg at his Juhu residence. According to news agency ANI, this alarming incident occurred in the early hours as Govinda prepared to leave for Kolkata for a scheduled show.

While handling his licensed revolver, the weapon slipped from his hand. This mishap resulted in a misfire that left him with a bullet wound in his leg. Reports indicate that Govinda was getting ready to head to the airport for a 6 AM flight. In the midst of packing, he decided to check on his revolver.

Manager Shares Details

Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, provided some insight into the situation. He explained that the actor was in the process of getting ready when the accident took place. “We had a 6 AM flight to catch for a show in Kolkata, and I had already reached the airport,” Sinha stated. “Govinda ji was about to leave his residence for the airport when this accident happened.”

In an unfortunate twist, the revolver fell from Govinda’s hand and fired a shot that lodged a bullet into his leg. Thankfully, the injury was swiftly addressed. Sinha elaborated, “He was keeping his licensed revolver in the case when it fell from his hand, and a bullet got fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet, and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now.”
