Share the latest news updates

Aramco marked its entry into Pakistan’s fuel market by launching its first branded retail station in Lahore. This milestone follows Aramco’s strategic acquisition of a 40% stake in Gas & Oil Pakistan (GO) Limited, a significant player in Pakistan’s downstream sector with over 1,200 stations nationwide. This partnership signifies Aramco’s commitment to delivering premium fuel services, high-quality automotive products, and enhancing the overall consumer experience in Pakistan.

Premium Offerings and Consumer Experience

At its new station, Aramco offers “ProForce” branded premium fuel, ensuring quality and performance. In addition, the station provides Valvoline lubricants, automotive services through Aramco’s Express Care, and modern convenience stores that aim to deliver a seamless experience to customers. Through this collaboration, Aramco brings its international standards in fuel and service quality to the Pakistani market, meeting the needs of a growing economy with high-quality offerings.

Strategic Expansion Plans for Aramco in Pakistan

Aramco’s Executive Vice President of Products & Customers, Yasser M. Mufti, highlighted the company’s commitment to Pakistan’s fuel sector, noting the potential for growth in the market. “This launch is a major step in our downstream growth strategy. With Pakistan’s growth potential, our focus remains on excellence, innovation, and partnerships. Together with GO, we are confident in delivering exceptional value to customers with reliable fuel supplies and world-class retail offerings,” Mufti stated.

The collaboration with GO brings together Aramco’s global expertise in energy and GO’s extensive local industry knowledge, with shared values of innovation, reliability, and customer service excellence. This new partnership not only strengthens Aramco’s brand in Pakistan but also seeks to establish new standards in the local retail fuel industry.

GO Limited’s Role in the Partnership

Khalid Riaz, CEO of GO Limited, echoed the strategic vision behind the launch, saying, “The first Aramco-branded station demonstrates our shared commitment to setting new benchmarks in Pakistan’s retail fuel landscape. Through this partnership, we aim to raise the standards for quality, service, and customer satisfaction in the industry.”

GO Limited’s established network and deep understanding of Pakistan’s market dynamics are pivotal to the partnership’s success, facilitating a rapid expansion of Aramco-branded stations across the country. Both companies anticipate that this partnership will foster growth in Pakistan’s retail fuel sector and elevate the customer experience with advanced, quality-driven fuel services.

Future Expansion and Broader Initiatives

The Lahore station launch represents the first phase of Aramco’s broader initiative to introduce its brand across Pakistan through GO’s extensive network. With plans for nationwide expansion in the coming years, Aramco aims to strengthen its presence and solidify its role in Pakistan’s downstream market.

This launch underscores Aramco’s strategic interest in Pakistan’s fuel industry and its focus on quality-driven expansion. As Aramco continues to grow its network, Pakistani consumers can expect improved service quality and premium fuel options at more locations, further fueling economic progress and customer satisfaction in the region.
