The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) is honoring Pakistan’s national poet, Dr. Muhammad Allama Iqbal, with cultural events throughout November. This month-long tribute includes poetry recitations and performances of Iqbal’s Kalam, celebrating his influence.
Honoring the Poet of the East

“The tribute will take place every Saturday and Sunday throughout November from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Tomb of Allama Iqbal in Huzoori Bagh,” a WCLA spokesperson said.

Kamran Lashari, Director General of WCLA, emphasized celebrating heroes like Iqbal. “Reviving Lahore’s culture means remembering our icons,” he said. “Iqbal’s legacy guides our future, not just our history.”
