Dilip Joshi, the beloved Indian TV actor known for playing Jethalal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), has addressed rumors of his alleged departure from the show. Recent reports claimed that Joshi had a heated argument with the show’s producer, Asit Modi, after a leave request was denied in August.

The veteran actor has now issued a statement, categorically denying these allegations. “There have been some stories in the media about me and Asit Bhai that are completely false, and it really saddens me to see such things being said,” Joshi stated.

He expressed frustration over the spread of misinformation, saying, “It’s disheartening to see negativity being spread about something that has brought so much joy to so many for so many years. When people spread baseless rumors, it hurts not only us but also our loyal viewers.”
Joshi added that he has no plans to leave the show and dismissed previous rumors suggesting otherwise. “Earlier, there were even rumors about me leaving the show, which is completely false,” he clarified.
