A high-ranking Bangladesh military delegation led by Lieutenant General SM Kamrul Hassan, Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of Bangladesh’s Armed Forces Division, visited senior Pakistan Navy officials on Sunday to discuss defence collaboration and regional security. The visit underscored the shared commitment of both nations to fostering stronger professional ties.

Key Meetings and Discussions

During his visit, General Hassan held discussions with prominent Pakistan Navy commanders, including Commander Pakistan Fleet Rear Admiral Abdul Munib, Commander Coast Rear Admiral Faisal Amin, and Managing Director of Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) Rear Admiral Salman Ilyas. These meetings focused on enhancing bilateral defence cooperation and exploring areas of mutual interest.

The Pakistan Navy, through a statement from the Directorate General Public Relations, emphasized the importance of these discussions in strengthening professional relationships. They also highlighted the shared goal of promoting maritime security in the region.
