Islamabad: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has confirmed the sighting of the Shaban moon in Pakistan. The first of Shaban will be observed on Wednesday, January 31.

Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad made the announcement after a meeting in Islamabad. Religious scholars and officials attended the session. The Consul General of Turkiye also participated as a special guest.
