Ranveer Allahbadia Responds to ‘India’s Got Latent’ Controversy

Ranveer Allahbadia, widely known as BeerBiceps, has found himself at the center of a major controversy after making an inappropriate comment on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. Following severe backlash, Allahbadia issued a public apology on his social media platforms.

“My team and I are cooperating with the police and all other authorities. I will follow due process and be available to all agencies,” he stated.

He admitted that his remark was “insensitive and disrespectful” and took full responsibility for his words. “It is my moral responsibility to do better, and I am genuinely sorry,” he added.

Receiving Threats and Fearing for Family’s Safety

In his statement, Allahbadia also revealed that he has been receiving death threats. He shared that some individuals have even entered his mother’s clinic under false pretenses to threaten his family.

“I’m watching threats pour in from people saying that they want to harm me and my family. People have invaded my mother’s clinic posing as patients,” he said.

Despite the threats, he assured his followers that he was not fleeing the situation. “I’m feeling scared and I don’t know what to do. But I’m not running away. I have full faith in the police and the judicial system of India,” he stated.

Samay Raina Deletes Controversial Videos

Stand-up comedian Samay Raina, who hosted India’s Got Latent, has also faced heavy criticism over the show’s content. Last week, he announced that he had removed all videos related to the series from his social media platforms.

“Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel,” Raina wrote on his social media accounts.

He defended his intentions, stating that the series was meant for entertainment. “My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time,” he explained.

Commitment to Legal Proceedings

Following the controversy, Raina assured the authorities of his full cooperation. “I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly,” he stated.

Authorities have summoned multiple people associated with the show for questioning. Both Raina and Allahbadia are expected to appear before Mumbai Police in the coming weeks.
