Shawwal Moon and Eid ul Fitr Anticipation
With just three days left until the expected sighting of the Shawwal moon, Muslims are preparing for Eid ul Fitr. Astronomers predict that the moon may be visible on the evening of March 29, which would mean Eid on March 30. However, the final confirmation depends on official moon sighting committees.

Transliteration: Allahumma ajirni min an-naar
Translation: “O Allah, save me from the Hellfire.”
Dua for Breaking the Fast (Iftar Dua)
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite the following dua before breaking his fast:
Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَىٰ رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
Transliteration: Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa ‘alayka tawakkaltu wa ‘ala rizq-ika aftartu.
Translation: “O Allah! I fasted for You, I believe in You, I put my trust in You, and with Your sustenance, I break my fast.”
