Karachi: The Boeing 777 of the national airline (PIA) in Malaysia was seized by the local authorities at the Kuala Lumpur airport, the PIA plane was confiscated on the orders of the local court.
According to the report, PIA’s Boeing 777 aircraft was held back at Kuala Lumpur Airport. National Airlines Flight P855 arrived in Kuala Lumpur from Karachi and was interrupted from flying again by the local authorities.
Malaysia’s local court has instructed the plane to be stopped in connection with the lease payments, according to sources, the lease payable is worth 14 million.
The officials from the Pakistani embassy reached Kuala Lumpur airport, to furnish all the necessary facilities to passengers.
The spokesman of PIA commented that they trying to resolve the issue, passengers will be properly cared for until the issue is resolved.
According to details, PIA is trying to settle the issue at the government level.
The passengers are being looked after as PIA is making alternate arrangements for their travelers. On the other hand, it is an unacceptable situation and PIA has engaged the support from the Government of Pakistan to resolve the matter using diplomatic channels.
