Karachi: Box Rec has denied accepting the record announced by British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan. The boxing competition that took place, on 19 December in Lahore.
The event was organized by the Punjab Government where millions of rupees were spent on the event.
In the competition-event the winner, Nadir Baloch received the boxing title that was called WBC Middle East Title was claimed to be false. The Box Rec, the international boxing platform where all the boxing records are documented, rejects the claims since the title was invalid and not accepted by the international Boxing Database website in the first place.
According to the details, the belt that was given to Nadir Baloch was also fake.
The Government of Punjab bore the loss of millions of rupees by the boxer in the name of the competition.
