As a result of allegations of misogyny and sexism against renowned American-singer Justin Timberlake regarding his treatment of Ex-Lovelady Britney Spears, and the “wardrobe malfunction” with Janet Jackson in 2004 at the Super Bowl, the singer has said sorry to both in an Instagram post.

Timberlake wrote, “I’ve seen the messages, tags, comments, and concerns and I want to respond,”.

Due to allegations of misogyny and sexism against Justin Timberlake sought forgiveness from Britney Spears and Janet Jackson.

“I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right. I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others and benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism.” He continued, “I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed.”

The reasons for his apology, in both cases, reach back nearly 20 years as He and Spears seeing each other when both were teen stars.

Amid the times when they were courting he said publicly that he had slept with her (she’d claimed she was waiting until she was married), and afterward accused her of cheating on him.

A narrative that acted out in the video for his 2002 song “Cry Me a River,” which featured a female-actress who looked like Spears.

The New York Times documentary Framing Britney dropped on Hulu on February 5, while Justin Timberlake is backlashed by Britney’s fans over his maltreatment of her.
