Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, has stated that basic and technological education will be encouraged in order to help the country transition to a knowledge-based economy.
On Friday, he spoke at a ceremony at Malakand University (today). During his message, he stressed the importance of schooling in society’s upliftment.
He also reported that special programs are being initiated in universities to familiarize young people with the Islamic beliefs and teachings of Hazrat Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Sallam Khatim un Nabiyeen. He went on to say that Al-Qadir University will be built for the same purpose and that Namal University Mianwali will be transformed into an information city.
In addition, he claimed that the government is putting a heavy focus on industrialization, agriculture, and tourism in order to move the nation forward. He says that this would open up a multitude of career prospects for our people in numerous fields.
He announced that a new agriculture program would be launched next week.
Apart from that, the premier noted that we came to power in the middle of a serious economic crisis. Over the last two and a half years, he says, we have returned 35 trillion rupees in loans.

PM Khan also mentioned megaprojects, saying that projects like Ravi City and the Business District in Lahore would help create wealth.
Investors are also involved in the Bundal Island idea, according to him. We have begun construction on the Mohmand and Basha dams. He added that he was optimistic that these schemes would assist the nation in repaying its debt.
Moreover, the premier noted that extraordinary benefits have been given to the building industry, which will continue to improve related industries. We’re still focusing on low-cost housing projects, he added.
