ISLAMABAD: Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood has announced the decision taken regarding the closure of the schools.
The minister said that schools will remain closed till April 11 in coronavirus hotspot areas.
According to the statement announced on Wednesday, the Board examinations of grades 9 to 12 will be held as per the schedule.
He was speaking to the media after a crucial meeting of education and health ministers at the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) to settle on school closures in the wake of an unprecedented increase in coronavirus cases around the world.
