KARACHI: A school van caught fire in Sharae Faisal Karachi on Monday afternoon.

The ten children in the van were rescued by the pilot. He’s been admitted to a doctor.

When the fire was discovered, the car was parked outside the Aisha Bawany Academy.

The fire has been extinguished, and the cooling process has begun.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, according to the emergency teams.

Transport Minister Owais Qadir Shah ordered a fitness review for all school vans in January 2019, as well as the revocation of permits for unfit vans.
