ISLAMABAD: Coronavirus has shown no sign of slowing the country, 98 more people died due to corona while 5,329 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The deadly virus has so far taken 15,124 people’s life, the total number of corona cases has reached 705,517.

In the last 24 hours in Pakistan, 5,329 new cases were reported across the country, bringing the number of corona patients in Pakistan to 75,517.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, Sindh was the worst affected by the coronavirus, with 267,612 cases of coronavirus and 240,584 cases of coronavirus in Punjab.

Besides, 94,880 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 63,499 in Islamabad, 19,999 in Balochistan, 5,070 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 13,873 in Azad Kashmir.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, the third wave of the Corona epidemic wreaked havoc across the country, with the killer virus swallowing 98 lives in 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 15,124.

The highest death toll from Corona was recorded in Sindh, where 4,520 people lost their lives.

Moreover, 6793 deaths were reported in Punjab, 2519 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 591 in Islamabad, 212 in Balochistan, 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 386 in Azad Kashmir and Covid.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, 66,994 patients with corona are being treated at various hospitals across the country, of whom 3,942 are said to be in critical condition.

However, 2,610 people have been cured in a single day, after which 623,399 patients in Pakistan have so far contracted the Coronavirus.

According to new figures released by the National Command and Operations Center, 49,816 corona tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, of which 5,329 were diagnosed.

A total of 1,058,487 people have been tested across the country so far.
