ECMCC, Pearson UK to provide quality skillset to students
Islamabad: Extreme Commerce MagnaCarta College (ECMCC) and Pearson UK have joined hands for the delivery of BTEC Higher Nationals (Level 4 and Level 5) qualifications in computing and business acceptable around the globe.
Hammer Ali, Director ECMCC, and Syed Waqar Shah, Country Manager, Pearson Pakistan signed the MoU at a ceremony in Islamabad amid the presence of Pearson Pakistan teams and ECMCC.
Pearson BTEC Higher National qualifications are recognised by industry and higher education authorities in the world as the principal technical skilled qualification at Level 4 and 5. HND is an excellent preference for learners wanting an inexpensive and relevant route to a degree or employment. Through ECMCC blended teaching platform, learners will be able to learn valuable courses.
Waqar Shah, While appreciating ECMCC’s vision, conveyed his gratitude and said, “providing skill-based qualifications and trainings to make the candidates become self-employed at the same time, is a paradigm shift for the future of jobs in Pakistan.” He also announced, “It will not only enhance the quality of the academic provision but would also give students training and grooming required to compete in the global world”.

Earlier, Mike Nithavrianakis, British Deputy High Commissioner, Karachi and UK Trade Director Pakistan was invited where he inaugurated the Extreme Commerce Magna Carta College. He acknowledged the extraordinary coalition between Extreme Commerce and the Magna Carta College for and the significance of quality education through ECMCC that will lay pivotal emphasis on strengthening the future of E-Commerce in Pakistan via a student-centric approach.
