Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to talk and make negotiations if the West accepts the annexed territories.
Over the course of nine months, Russia has taken over four Ukrainian regions and President Putin announced them to be part of Russia.
The international world wants the war between Russia and Ukraine to end, and demands Putin to come to negotiations.
However, Putin has stated that he will agree to negotiate if the Western world recognizes the territories Russia has captured.
Vladimir Putin suggested that Western refusal to accept and recognize the new territories makes the peace talks harder to achieve.
Moreover, President Biden told the reporters that he might meet the Russian president. He also added, “if in fact there is an interest in him deciding that he’s looking for a way to end the war”.
