Shortage of gas is no news for the people of Pakistan in winter. As soon as winter arrives, people start to worry about the shortage of gas that hinders everyday life and chores such as cooking and heating water for a bath.
A horrifying incident took place in Sultan Town in Jaranwala where a couple used a rickshaw cylinder to use for cooking because of a shortage of gas.
Muzzafar Iqbal who’s 40 years old and a rickshaw driver, removed a gas cylinder from his rickshaw and installed it in his kitchen to use it for coming purposes along with his wife Shazia who is 33 years old.
However, their strategy to cope with the shortage of gas caused immense trouble to the couple because it exploded and burnt the family of four people.
The rescue team shifted them to Ghulam Muhammad General Hospital where the doctors reported that the family got severely burnt.
Muzaffar Iqbal, Shazia, 11 years old Abdul Hannan, and Haleem Bibi aged 60 were affected by the burns to several degrees.
However, doctors are making sure to treat them successfully.
