Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) has launched a mazdoor card for laborers of Punjab. After sehat card, it is another initiative by PTI to help and support the poor communities of Pakistan.
The mazdoor card will hold great benefits for the laborers of Punjab. Workers can use it as a debit card and identity code. It can also be used at hospitals and health dispensaries across Punjab.
The Mazdoor card will be related to the sehat sahulat card that was introduced by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf.
More than 1.2 million laborers will take advantage of the mazdoor card as they get registered with Punjab social security department.
Moreover, accounts will be opened for 1.2 million workers as a part of this initiative after which workers will be able to take advantage of the Akhuwat Housing scheme and other related schemes.
Furthermore, the mazdoor card will give discounts to all laborers on products of more than 134 companies.
