The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the full schedule for the upcoming Pakistan vs Australia ODI Series, confirming a three-match bilateral contest set to take place from May 30 to June 4 across Rawalpindi and Lahore.
The series will bring international cricket back to Pakistan’s major venues, with Australia touring the country for another white-ball assignment following their previous visits in recent years.
Australia Arrive Ahead of Opening ODI
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the Australian cricket team will arrive in Islamabad on May 23. The visitors will begin preparations for the opening match shortly after their arrival.
The first ODI of the series will be played on May 30 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The match will start at 4:30pm local time, with the toss scheduled for 4pm.
This opening clash is expected to set the tone for a competitive series between two strong cricketing nations.

Lahore to Host Final Two ODIs
The second and third ODIs will be played in Lahore at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium.
The second ODI is scheduled for June 2, while the final match will take place on June 4. Both games will begin at 4:30pm local time.
Lahore has recently hosted several major international fixtures, and the PCB is expecting strong fan turnout for the final two matches of the series.
First ODI Series Since 2022 Tour
The upcoming series marks Australia’s return to Pakistan for a full ODI tour for the first time since March–April 2022.
Australia has played multiple matches in Pakistan since then, including a T20I series earlier this year. In that series, Pakistan dominated and secured a 3-0 clean sweep in Lahore, boosting confidence ahead of future encounters.
The two teams also met during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, where Australia registered a notable five-wicket win against England at Gaddafi Stadium on February 22.
High Expectations for Competitive Cricket
Cricket fans in Pakistan are expecting a high-intensity series between both sides. The Australia-Pakistan rivalry has historically produced close matches, and the conditions in Rawalpindi and Lahore are expected to play a key role.
Pakistan will aim to use home advantage, while Australia will look to adjust quickly to local pitches and weather conditions.
Cricket analysts believe the series will also help both teams prepare for upcoming ICC events, making every match important in terms of strategy and squad testing.
