Karachi: Israel is going to establish diplomatic relations with the fifth Muslim country under Donald Trump. But Pakistan is not included.

Israeli Regional Cooperation Minister Ofir Akunis said that the diplomatic relations with a fifth Muslim country could be announced before Trump leaves office on January 20.

He added that in this regard, the United States will announce that another country is going to establish public relations with Israel, mainly with the framework of a peace agreement.

However, he declined to name the country. Any such announcement could be made with Saudi Arabia or Oman, but he said the country with which talks are underway is a largely Muslim country and is located in the east.

He also clarified that Pakistan is not into consideration.
