Karachi: Serene Airline flight ER 500 escaped an accident as the plane was hit by a bird during landing at Islamabad Airport.
However, the windshield of the cockpit was damaged in the incident and the pilot managed to land the aircraft after the bird hit.
The flight was on approach from Karachi to Islamabad on Thursday afternoon.
Later, the plane was grounded by ground staff while all the next flights of the aircraft were canceled.
