Karachi: Australia’s player, Aaron Summers, has signed up for Southern Punjab for the Pakistan Cup One-Day Tournament that will begin from 8 January in Karachi.
Aaron Summers will join Southern Punjab on 5 January and will arrive on the 28th of this month in Lahore.
The press release issued by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on 26 Dec, mentioned that “The Tasmanian The Tasmanian will arrive in Lahore on 28 December and after a week-long training camp under Azhar Mahmood at the National High-Performance Centre, will join Southern Punjab in Karachi on 5 January”.
It also mentioned that the rules for the PCB’s domestic competition permit “one foreign player per side as long as the foreign player submits a Non-Objective Certificate from his home board.”
Aaron Summers said that he is “delighted to have been offered a contract by the Southern Punjab Cricket Association”.
