Karachi: New Zealand becomes the number one team in the Test rankings for the first time as the team won the second test against Pakistan on Wednesday.
After completing the clean sweep mission against Pakistan, the Kiwis increased their points tally to 118.
The Kiwis pushed Australia (116) to the second position. However, Pakistan remains in the seventh position and only being five points ahead of West Indies.
Now New Zealand ranks first, Australia second, India third, England fourth, South Africa fifth, Sri Lanka sixth, Pakistan seventh, West Indies eighth, Afghanistan ninth, and Bangladesh tenth.
