Karachi: Chairman PPP, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, and Vice President PML-N, Maryam Nawaz, paid a visit to Hazara to condole with the families of the slain miners.
On Thursday, the protest of the Hazara community entered the fifth day as they still await PM Imran Khan’s arrival.
The PDM leaders addressed the protesters.
Bilawal Bhutto said in the address that it is unfortunate to visit Balochistan capital not to celebrate but to condole with the people who lost their loved ones in the brutal attack.
He also said that Hazaras are repeatedly targetted by the terrorist and many had lost their lives. “The blood of our laborers is cheap, and that of political workers, police officers, lawyers, residents, and the Hazara community” he lamented.
He appealed to the state to provide justice to the patriots.
Addressing the Hazaras protesters, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that “your loved ones have been snatched from you,”
“I offer my heartfelt condolences on the resurrection that befell you, we have been watching as the protest continued for five days”.
Maryam Nawaz, who implied PM Imran Khan, said “he lacks sympathy” but, “we will not allow him to ignore Hazaras sufferings”.
She also said that she came to visit on the direction of his father, Nawaz Sharif.
Maryam Nawaz added that she shares their grief and “I am not in the government. I can do nothing for you except raise my voice”.
