General Qamar Javed Bajwa Receives Bahrain’s top military award

Karachi: General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), received Bahrain’s top military award from Salman bin Hamad.

Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad gave the award for making indispensable contributions to defense cooperation while COAS was visiting the Arab state.

According to the reports, the honor, the Order of Bahrain, was awarded to the Army Chief of Pakistan on behalf of King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa during an event

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) told the award was for making remarkable contributions to defense cooperation between Bahrain and Pakistan.

Crown Prince welcomed General Bajwa wholeheartedly and highlighted a number of aspects of bilateral ties between Pakistan and Bahrain, more precisely within military and defense cooperation.

His Royal Highness appreciated the strength of the bond shared between both countries, and how it promotes regional stability and security.

General Bajwa expressed his gratitude to the King for presenting him with the Bahrain Order (First Class).
