The House voted 232-197 to impeach the president for a second time on Wednesday owing to the last week’s unrest at the Capitol Hill by Trump supporters.
The president has become the first to be impeached twice in the history of the US.
The week has not been favourable for the outgoing president, first, he lost the election, and second, he got blocked on all social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and then his YouTube channel was also restricted. The restriction on Donald Trump is imposed for two weeks.
However, Twitter can’t stop talking about it.
Twitter was flooded with memes on Trump’s impeachment. The hashtag #DonaldTrump has been trending on social media shortly after the House decision.
