Karachi: A judicial inquiry report revealed that the death of Usama Satti, a 22-year-old student, was not an accident, he was murdered.

The report exposed the details as the young man was “shot from all directions and his death was not a mere accident.”

The inquiry was carried out by the additional deputy commissioner Islamabad.

An officer of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), according to the detail, shot Satti as he received “multiple gunshots fired at him from all directions”

The report shows that the police personnel, involved in the murder, intended to kill the 22-year-old student.

Moreover, Usama’s death news was purposely hidden from the slain’s family.

The report further divulged that the officers made the incident look like a dacoity case and kept the secret from senior officials too. The Rescue 1122 personnel who wanted to arrive on spot, were repeatedly given the wrong details of the site where the incident took place.

It was clear in the inquiry report that the Satti was not involved in any dacoity or criminal cases.

The report further said that Usama Satti’s car was shot at 22 times.”

Shell casings that were retrieved from the site of the incident were sent after 72 hours to the forensic labs, according to the judicial inquiry.
