KARACHI: The South African fast bowler of Quetta Gladiators, Dale Steyn, voiced his disappointment at some of the remarks made by the commentators during the match against Peshawar Zalmi.
Although the fast bowler did not list any commentator voicing vexation on Twitter, it was evident from his article that the bowler was referring to New Zealander Simon Doull.

“What commentator said I had a mid-life crisis?” In his first of three tweets, Steyn asked on Saturday night.
Simon was told “Mid-Life Hair Crisis” as the TV screens showed Dale Steyn alone in the dressing room while Quetta was pounding.
That’s all I have to say.
It was a great time last night, fantastic to play in front of crowds again, cricket is so much better that way.
We lost but hopefull to pull it together in our remaining games.

“If it’s your job to talk about the game, so do that. But if you use the airtime to harass someone for their weight, personal choices, racial origins, habits, etc, or even hairstyles, then I’m afraid I don’t have time for you as a person. You and someone else want that to be fair,” the South African cricketer said in his second tweet.
If your job is to talk about the game, then do that.
But if you use that airtime to abuse anyone for their weight, sexual choices, ethnic backgrounds, lifestyle etc or even hairstyles, then im afraid I have no time for you as a human.

Steyn didn’t have a successful outing during Quetta’s game against Zalmi on Friday. He conceded 44 runs from four overs, including 21 from the penultimate when he was struck by three sixes – Rutherford and Wahab Riaz.
“It was a wonderful time last night to play in front of the crowds again, cricket is so much easier that way,” he added of playing his first PSL 6 match.
“We’ve lost, but we intend to pull things together in our remaining games. Thanx for support Have a nice weekend for everybody,” he continued to complete a sequence of tweets.
