KARACHI: Due to Corona, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has canceled the April 4 meeting in Rawalpindi.
PPP leader Shahla Raza while confirming on social networking site Twitter said that the meeting to be held on April 4 in Rawalpindi has been postponed due to increase in Corona cases.
It may be recalled that PPP had announced a meeting in Rawalpindi on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
Bilawal was informed about the fear of spreading corona in Sindh from the meeting in Rawalpindi
On the other hand, the Sindh Health Department expressed concerns over the spread of corona in the province due to the meeting in Rawalpindi.
The Sindh Health Department has informed PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari that there are fears of a corona outbreak in Sindh from the PPP meeting on April 4 in Rawalpindi.
Bilawal Bhutto has been told that the prevalence of Corona in Rawalpindi is 17% and in Sindh it is 2%.
The provincial health department has suggested that it would be better to cancel the Rawalpindi meeting on the anniversary of former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
