KARACHI: Pakistan Quiz Society International Registered organized two quiz competitions on the occasion of Pakistan Day on 23rd March.
The first competition was organized under the auspices of the Institue of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA) Karachi Branch Council in which the students of ICMA who participated in the competition were asked questions.
After an interesting contest, the team of Mohammad Amin and Usman Khatri secured the first position while the team of Shahid Majeed Bhatti and Mohammad Hamza secured the second position.
Master Syed Javed Rizanqavi and Society President Wajid Raza Isfahani distributed prizes among the winners. The judges of the competition were Prof. Munawar Qureshi, Prof. Ayaz Raza Tirmidhi, and Saeed Ahmad Saeed.
Secretary Bakar Mujeeb Al Hashmi, Vice President Tahseen Fatima, Azeem Siddiqui, Joint Secretary Arif Soomro, and Member Executive Council Rashid Qureshi were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion of Pakistan Day, Pakistan Quiz Society International organized the second program in association with Bahadur Yarjing Academy. In the competition, 24 teams participated. Sabahashim and Yamna Nadeem of Saradam G Institute won the first prize.
Muhammad Nabeel and Hashim Ali of Government National College Morning secured the second position while Laiba Shahid and Areeba Shahid of Sheikh Zayed Islamic Institute secured the third position.
Javed Raza and Prof. Ayaz Raza Tirmidhi, Acting Chairman of the Society were the judges of the competition.
The prizes were distributed among students who won the competition by Khawaja Razi Haider, President of the program and former director of Quaid-e-Azam Academy, and special guest educationist Anis Zaidi and Javed Raza on behalf of the Quiz Society.
Honorable Syed Sabihuddin Hussaini, Vice President Mir Bahadur Ali Imam and President Pakistan Quiz Society International Wajid Raza Isfahani, Vice President Tehseen Fatima, Joint Secretary Arif Soomro, and Member Executive Council Rashid Qureshi were also present on the occasion.
