Terror case registered against PTI following Khans Disqualification

Karachi: A case has been filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for causing destruction in major cities of Pakistan.

PTI supporters protested against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) verdict pronouncing the disqualification of Imran Khan.

According to police PTI protesters made several attempts to run over policemen with the intention of hurting them.

The demonstrators also set fire to trees in Faizabad and its nearby areas and tried to damage government property.

It should be noted that ECP disqualified Imran Khan on Friday in the Toshakhana case and his parliamentarian ship was also quashed.

The case has been lodged against PTI for vandalising Faizabad in I-9 police station under the terrorism act and Senator Faisal Javaid along with seven others are nominated.

However, PTI leaders were appalled by the verdict of disqualification by ECP and announced to approach the high court against the verdict.

Meanwhile, former PM Imran Khan urged the nation in a video message to maintain peace and end the protest.

He added in the video that he will give a call for the long march very soon.
