Karachi: The year’s last partial solar eclipse began in many parts of the world. NASA reported the display of the phenomenon will come into sight across Europe, western Asia and northeastern Africa and the Middle East.
Ophthalmologists recommended people avoid looking directly at the sun during the eclipse. The only safe way to look directly at the sun is through special-purpose solar filters.
The Met Department said, “the partial eclipse begins at 13:58 PST and ends at 18:02 PST with the greatest eclipse occurring at 16:00 PST.”
