United Nations revealed that the next baby born on Tuesday would be the 8th billion person in this world.

The world’s population has been increasing gradually with time and now the United Nations have reported that there are 8 billion people in the world.

Any baby that will be born today would be the eighth billion person in the world.

About this milestone UN secretary general Antonio Guterres said, “The milestone is an occasion to celebrate diversity and advancements while considering humanity’s shared responsibility for the planet.”

United Nations believe that the population growth is a milestone which should be celebrated, and it is due to advancements in medical technology, focus on hygiene, nutrition and medicine.

Also the population growth is a result of high fertility rates. It is observed that high fertility rates are usually found in developing and underdeveloped countries.

The highest fertility rate is found is Sub Saharan Africa.
