Former prime minister Imran Khan says that he will discuss the matter of army chief’s appointment with President Arif Alvi
Today the PM Shahbaz Sharif picked the Lieutenant Asim Muneer as the 17th Chief of army staff (COAS).
The information minister, Maryam Aurangzeb revealed through twitter that the summary of the decision was forwarded to President Arif Alvi for approval.
After the news of appointment of new army chief broke out, former prime minister Imran Khan said that he will discuss matters with President Arif Alvi.
The social media handle of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf shared the footage of President Arif Alvi’s arrival at Imran Khan’s residence in Lahore.
Through the official twitter account of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf, it was shared that Imran Khan will discuss matters with President according to law and constitution.
