The legend of Maula Jatt will become the first Pakistani film to release in India in over a decade.

Bilal Lashari’s film has become a huge success all over the world collecting Rs. 220 crores and is all set to set some records in India as well.

The most successful film in Pakistani cinema includes Indian fans’ favorite stars; Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. The film will release on Friday to capture the hearts of Indian cinema fans.

Indian entertainment company, INOX said, It will be played in Punjab and a few theatres in Delhi in INOX where there are Punjabi-speaking people.”

The last films that were released in India were Bol in 2011 starring Mahira Khan and Atif Aslam, and Khuda Ke Liye in 2007 starring Fawad Khan and Naseeruddin Shah, which garnered good attention and love from across the border.

The political tension between Pakistan and India made it almost impossible to release films. However, after a decade, now The Legend of Maula Jatt is all set to break that tension to promote art.
