Sindh Governor, Kamran Tessori is in the news lately for his struggle to unite the factions of MQM. According to the source, he is playing a key role in unifying MQM factions and rejoining Farooq Sattar.

However, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf does not vouch for Sindh Governor’s involvement in unifying MQM factions because it is against the constitution.

MPA of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf, Khurram Sher Zaman wrote a letter to President Arif Alvi regarding the situation of MQM and Kamran Tessori. He said, “The Governor of a province represents you [the President] and the Federation and thus, the office of Governor should be non-partisan and thus, avoid doing politics on behalf of any political party.”

Khurram posted this letter on Twitter as well to let people know about PTI’s thoughts.

He further added, “The Governor of a province represents you [the President] and the Federation and thus, the office of Governor should be non-partisan and thus, avoid doing politics on behalf of any political party.”

Moreover, he went on to say, “The Governor has been visiting political offices of the MQM, PSP, and other factions of the MQM in an attempt at political maneuvering or…political engineering to unite these political parties ahead of local body elections in Karachi and Hyderabad.”

It is yet to see what President Arif Alvi will have to say on this matter.
