Pakistan suffered another loss today in the journalism world as Aap TV channel anchor, Mishal Bukhari passed away.

Mishal hosted the show ‘Aap ke Muqabil’ on the Aap TV channel for years. She also worked on Express News as an anchor.

However, she was diagnosed with cancer two years ago, and since she was struggling with cancer and her treatment was in process.

But on Tuesday, Mishal Bukhari’s husband, Ameer Abbas who is an anchor on Bol TV announced his wife’s death on Twitter.

He said, “My wife, journalist Mishal Bukhari, a beautiful heart, an incomparable personality, an incredibly patient, unbelievably brave woman, left an unbearable shock after fighting cancer for two years.”

Mishal’s funeral was held on Wednesday at 1 pm at Jamia Al Muntazar in Lahore.

The journalist community and Mishal’s loved ones all poured in their prayers for her.
