Moreover, the satellite images of Saudi Arabia also showed that the mountainous range was a desert that was completely dry but after rainfall, the dry land became filled with greenery all around.

The Terra satellite of the American space agency (NASA) released the images of vegetation appearing on the Western parts of Saudi Arabia, from Makkah and Medina regions.
