Pakistan won its first One Day Internationals match against New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi.

The New Zealand team managed to make 255 runs at the loss of 9 wickets. They struggled to make these runs against the Pakistani bowling attack.

Naseem Shah made it difficult for New Zealand to score runs because the 19-year-old took 5 wickets giving away only 57 runs. He became the star of the first ODI.

Moreover, the Pakistan cricket team’s batting lineup did not disappoint at all. Muhammad Rizwan played amazing 77 runs, Captain Babar Azam managed to score 66 runs, and Fakhar Zaman made 56 runs.

Teamwork from the batsmen led Pakistan toward its first victory in the ODI against New Zealand team.

The green shirts morale is high after winning their first match in three matches ODI series. Further matches will be held in Karachi, on Wednesday and Friday.
