WhatsApp, now owned by Meta, is a popular instant messaging app that allows users to easily share all types of media such as photos, videos, gifs, and voice messages with their loved ones.

The app has recently been updated to allow users to send up to 100 photos at once, instead of the previous limit of 30 photos.

This new feature is currently being tested by some beta testers, but is expected to be released to more users soon.

To check if this feature is available to you, simply open the media picker and select more than 30 photos or videos.

If you are able to select more than 30 items, this means the feature is accessible to you and you can send up to 100 photos and videos.

In addition to the photo sharing update, WhatsApp has also introduced several new features to enhance the user experience.

The private audience selector allows users to choose who they share their status updates with, giving them more control over their privacy.

The voice status feature allows users to share voice notes of up to 30 seconds on their status, while the status reactions feature lets users react to statuses with various emojis such as a heart-eye emoji, tears of joy emoji, open mouth emoji, folded hands, clapping hands, party popper, and 100 points.

Another new feature is the status profile rings, which informs users if there are new updates for their status right within the chat list.

Finally, the link previews on status feature allows users to share link previews when sharing a link as a status update.

All of these new features are available on the Android, iOS, and desktop versions of the app, according to WaBetaInfo.
