Authorities were alerted promptly, and police arrived at the scene. They arrested two suspects—one from Uttar Pradesh and another from Haryana. A third assailant remains at large, and police are actively searching for him.

In response to the shooting, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde vowed to take strict action against those responsible. He stated, “Two accused have been arrested, and one suspect is still at large. No one can take law and order into their own hands.” Shinde also directed the Mumbai Police to expedite the arrest of the remaining suspect.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar canceled all his scheduled programs for Sunday and planned to return to Mumbai at midnight. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited Siddique at Lilavati Hospital. This tragic incident has shocked the local community and raised concerns about safety and security.
