Former federal minister Faisal Vawda declared on Saturday that the 26th constitutional amendment will pass in parliament “at any cost.” He made this statement while speaking to the media in Islamabad.

Vawda, a former member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), criticized the party’s leadership. He said, “It takes no time to become zero from hero. They will continue to lament, and the amendment will be passed.” His remarks reflect a deepening rift within the party.

He accused PTI leaders of being “sell-outs” and claimed the party has effectively accepted the current government. “All of us have seen the faces of the sell-outs,” he stated. He went further, saying, “The PTI had sat with the government and demanded with the party founder.”

Vawda expressed discontent with the actions of PTI leaders, stating, “These people are themselves enjoying sending the PTI founder packed.” His statements suggest a lack of faith in the party’s direction.

Recently, Vawda also took aim at PTI for allegedly “spreading” unrest in the country. He remarked, “The PTI founder merely wants to rule the country. Challenging the writ of the government is equal to treason.” He added, “Let’s see who will win the political battle, and whose politics will end?”

Vawda continued to criticize the PTI founder, asserting that he is facing pressure as the country stabilizes. “The PTI founder should refrain from playing with the poor children of the country,” he said. He emphasized that the founder should return to Pakistan with his own children.

According to Vawda, the situation is escalating. He stated, “Now the things are getting out of control. The PTI founder is talking about getting rid of freedom and slavery.” He condemned the protests organized by the PTI, claiming they endanger the lives of citizens. “The drama of holding protests is being staged to take away the lives of the poor citizens,” he declared.

He also criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, claiming he is jeopardizing the country’s law and order. “Ali Amin Gandapur is trying to put the country’s law and order situation at stake,” Vawda stated.

Vawda expressed concern over the impact of protests on innocent citizens. He insisted that the law and constitution are being violated. “The judiciary should take notice of the violation of law and constitution,” he urged.

Despite the turmoil, Vawda maintained a positive outlook. “Nobody can even dare to stop Pakistan from steering towards prosperity,” he concluded. His comments highlight the ongoing political tensions in the country and the challenges facing the PTI.

As the situation evolves, Vawda’s predictions and criticisms will likely influence public discourse. The outcome of the constitutional amendment remains to be seen, along with the fate of the PTI and its leadership.
