Launch of Shahpar-III Drone
A key highlight of IDEAS 2024 was the unveiling of the Shahpar-III, a next-generation combat unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by Global Industrial Defence Solutions (GIDS) Pakistan.
The Shahpar-III stands out for its advanced capabilities, including:
- Operational ceiling: 35,000 feet
- Endurance: Over 24 hours
- Payload: Equipped for bombs, missiles, and torpedoes
This UAV reflects Pakistan’s growing expertise in modern defence technology, marking a milestone in its journey toward self-reliance in defence production.
