The provisional results for the MDCAT 2024 (Medical and Dental College Admission Test) have been officially released by Sukkur IBA University. Complaints and Final Results

Vice Chancellor Asif Sheikh stated that candidates can submit their complaints regarding the results via email until 5:00 PM on December 17, 2024. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the deadline to ensure all grievances are addressed. After reviewing the complaints, the university will release the final results on December 18, 2024, as per the orders of the Sindh High Court (SHC).

The Vice Chancellor reassured students that the entire process is being conducted transparently, following the court’s directives. He urged candidates to act promptly, ensuring their concerns are resolved within the stipulated timeframe.

Transparent Process for Complaints

To streamline the complaints process, Sukkur IBA University has implemented an email system. Furthermore, MDCAT Testing Services assured candidates that all issues would be addressed on merit. The institution reiterated its commitment to fairness and transparency throughout the process.

Retake Scheduled in Islamabad

Meanwhile, a MDCAT 2024 retake has been scheduled for December 22 in Islamabad. This development follows updates from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) regarding the revised test schedule.

Sources revealed that over 30 examination centers will be established across Islamabad to accommodate 17,597 candidates registered for the retake. The roll numbers and examination centers will be finalized and announced next week.

Interestingly, the number of candidates registering for the retake has significantly decreased. Earlier, 53,105 candidates were registered for the MDCAT 2024, but the latest registration shows only 17,597 participants, indicating a notable drop in interest.

Both Sukkur IBA University and PMDC have emphasized that the retake and complaint review processes aim to ensure fairness and transparency. The authorities have called on candidates to utilize the designated channels for queries and concerns, maintaining confidence in the integrity of the system.
