Pakistan is observing Kashmir Solidarity Day today (Wednesday) to express support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The day highlights the Kashmiri people’s struggle for self-determination under United Nations (UN) resolutions.

The government has declared a public holiday across Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). Various rallies, human chains, and public gatherings are being held.

In Islamabad, a major solidarity rally will take place on Constitution Avenue. Sirens were blown, and people observed one-minute silence at 10 AM to honor Kashmiri martyrs.

Billboards and posters at airports, railway stations, and main roads highlight the suffering of Kashmiris and expose Indian human rights violations.

A special session of the AJK Legislative Assembly is being held in Muzaffarabad. Lawmakers will express support for the oppressed Kashmiris and demand justice and freedom for them.

These chains symbolize the strong bond between Pakistan and Kashmir.

In Mirpur, Kotli, and Bhimber, several events, including a solidarity function at Mangla Bridge, are taking place.
