Authorities in Karachi recovered the body of kidnapped victim Sehar Fatima and arrested two suspects after an intelligence-based raid in Surjani Town. The tragic case of this ransom murder has sparked outrage and a renewed focus on ensuring justice.
Operation and Arrest
Sindh Rangers and the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) launched a joint operation in Surjani Town’s Gulshan-e-Noor area after receiving intelligence about the abduction.
Acting on the tip-off, authorities raided the location and arrested two suspects, identified as Waseem Raza and Nix.

Details of the Crime
During initial questioning, the suspects admitted to kidnapping Sehar on February 15. They held her captive in a rented house in Hassan Brohi Goth, Surjani Town. The suspects tied her hands and feet and recorded a video showing her captivity. They then sent this video to her father as proof of the abduction and demanded the ransom.
When the ransom demand was not met, the suspects resorted to a brutal act. They murdered Sehar Fatima, officials confirmed. After extracting this confession, law enforcement raided the house and recovered the victim’s body.
Victim’s Body Recovered
The body was immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem examination. In conclusion authorities are now focused on gathering all possible evidence to strengthen the case.
